A few days late ... the wash got behind.

I think that this UFO is four years old.  I made one for my nephew, Levi and quilted his name into the squares.  I had enough fabric to do two at the time, but somehow this one languished without purpose or deadline.  As I dig deeper into my piles (the goal is to rediscover the floor) I am trying to finish an old UFO and alternate with a Newer stash using project.  My last UFO was kind of both ... and I have another UFO that is in border-stage.  I had to unpick one edge of the border that tripped me up for awhile.

Finished another UFO

This UFO was only a little over 1 year old.  When I made the consignment quilt last spring, she let me keep all the leftover material.  I had purchased the off-white and supplied the brown and middling blue for the border from my stash.  So, I completed another Hidden Stars quilt from it.  It wasn't quite as large as the first as I was running out of certain of the fabrics.  The square-in-a-square method that I used made nice uniform blocks, but I am left with many more triangles than I could use in the borders.  So, there is still another UFO in the works with these fabrics.  And because I was delinquent in posting ... I have another quilt almost ready for binding.  It is a little older however, perhaps tomorrow I will post a picture ...
